Thunder vs. Lakers score update: OKC leads Los Angeles, 67-53, at the half

The Thunder are rolling past the Lakers.

The Oklahoma City Thunder had a big second quarter and now lead the Los Angeles Lakers, 67-53, at the half. The Thunder offense is having an excellent night, shooting 54 percent from the field and hitting 8 of 11 three-point shots.

Russell Westbrook is having a great night, leading the Thunder with 27 points on 10 of 16 shooting, including making 5 of 7 from three-point range. Kevin Durant has 18 points, six rebounds and two assists.

The Thunder defense has played a key part in their lead over the Lakers, holding Los Angeles to 37 percent from the field.

The Thunder outscored the Lakers, 41-26, in the second quarter, and the game started to get out of hand as Oklahoma City went on a 17-3 run to go up by 12 points. Then the Thunder closed out the half by going on a 10-5 run to go up by 14 at the half.
