Thunder Vs. Timberwolves Final Score: Oklahoma City Taken To Double Overtime By Minnesota, Win 149-140

The Oklahoma City Thunder have been a great team this year at home and have only lost four games so far, however the Minnesota Timberwolves nearly gave the Thunder their fifth home loss this year. The Timberwolves forced the game into double overtime, but the Thunder exploded in the second extra frame to win 149-140.

With the scoring spree this game featured Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook combined for 85 points with Durant scoring 45 and Westbrook putting up 40 points. On the Timberwolves side Kevin Love led all scorers with 51 points on 16-of-27 shots including going 7-of-11 from three-point range.

The Thunder thought they had the game won when Durant hit a three-pointer with three seconds left before Love tied the game with one second left to send it into the first overtime.

In the second overtime it was the Timberwolves who had the lead as they led by five with 46 seconds left, but Durant hit a three with 10 seconds left to tie the game and the heave by Love did not fall.

In second overtime is when the Thunder offense really caught fire. From the 1:34 mark to the 28 second mark the Thunder outscored the Timberwolves 9-0 to put the game away for good and escape with the win.
