The Western Conference rivals square off in a crucial game for playoff positioning.
With only three weeks left in the regular season, the Oklahoma City Thunder are one game ahead of the San Antonio Spurs in the race for home-court advantage in the Western Conference.
In what could be a playoff preview, they host the LA Clippers on Wednesday night in a game both teams need, as the Clippers, currently the No. 4 seed, are in the middle of a huge scrum of teams fighting for positioning.
There is no love lost between the two teams, who split their first two regular season meetings. The matchup between Blake Griffin and Kendrick Perkins on the interior will be worth watching, especially after Griffin's brutal summit of Perkins that led Sportscenter for weeks.
On the perimeter, Russell Westbrook and Chris Paul will face off in a contrast of styles between the most athletic PG in the NBA and one of the least.
The difference could be at the small forward position, where LA rolls out the aging Caron Butler against Kevin Durant, one of the front-runners for the MVP award.
The 7:00 PM game will be broadcast regionally on Fox Sports Oklahoma.
