The Oklahoma City Thunder suffered just their five home loss of the year as the Memphis Grizzlies pulled off the upset win 94-88 on Monday night. The Grizzlies offense was balanced and had six players score in double digits with O.J. Mayo coming off the bench to lead all scorers with 22 points.
Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook got their points on the night with 19 and 21 respectively, but Durant shot 8-of-20 from the field including 2-of-8 from the three-point range, and Westbrook was 5-of-16.
As a team the Thunder shot 45 percent from the field which was actually better than the Grizzlies who only shot only 39 percent from the field, but they made one more basket than the Thunder. Another difference in Monday night's loss for the Thunder was free throw shooting where the Grizzlies went 22-of-24 while the Thunder went 17-of-24.

There is no time for the Oklahoma City Thunder to rest after their big win over the Chicago Bulls on Sunday, because if they do any team could sneak up and pull off the upset. The Memphis Grizzlies are looking to do just do that as they are playing the Thunder tough and at the half it the Thunder lead 44-42.
The Thunder scoring attack is being led by both James Harden and Kevin Durant who each have three points with Russell Westbrook struggling from the field with only six points on 2-of-7 shooting. The Thunder defense has stepped up their game Monday night and has held the Grizzlies to only 30 percent shooting, and have held Rudy Gay to only eight points on 3-of-10 shooting.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are creating a brand new tier all to themselves at the top of the NBA standings this season as they continue to move past every opponent with ease. Sunday night they took the Chicago Bulls, leaders of the Eastern Conference, to school in a dominant 92-78 win that had head coach Scott Brooks singing his team’s praises.
“We played our best defense of the year,” Brooks said. “I like the way the guys got after the basketball. They challenged every pass, they challenged every shot.”
Currently the Thunder are 40-10 and winners of 6 in a row. They’ll try to further that streak tonight against the Grizzlies on the road at Memphis. The Grizzlies, meanwhile, are 28-22 and hoping to stave off the rest of the playoff hopefuls in the lower tier of the Western Conference contenders.
