Debate continues to churn over how long Lakers forward Metta World Peace will be suspended for his vicious elbow to the head of Thunder guard James Harden, but one thing we do know is there will be no ruling from the league office on Monday:
NBA ruling on Metta World Peace won't come today, according to person familiar with the situation.— Mike Bresnahan (@Mike_Bresnahan) April 23, 2012
The blow caused Harden to suffer a concussion, and has drawn the attention of basketball fans across the map. Given his history and the league's push to put the safety of its players at the forefront of its agenda, it's possible that World Peace could receive a suspension that last double digit games.
