Oklahoma City Thunder Reportedly Interested In Roger Mason, Jr.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have a full roster for the 2012-13 season and the level of talent is on display at the 2012 Olympics like no other team can boast of. However, it doesn't mean that Sam Presti is finished piecing together the complete puzzle for next year when the team still has some exceptions it can use to attract a free agent -- perhaps one like Roger Mason, Jr.

The Thunder are among the teams listed as interested in the journeyman guard, but it would be interesting to note how he might fit. At 31-years-old, Mason has played for the Wizards, Knicks, Spurs and Wizards again in the last five seasons.

Michael Lee writes, "Bringing back Roger Mason Jr., Maurice Evans or James Singleton also remains high on the Wizards' priority list, but the team already has depth at nearly every position. Mason is also not interested in signing another one-year deal at the league minimum, as he has the past two seasons, according to a source close to Mason. Oklahoma City, New Orleans, Chicago and the Los Angeles Lakers have also expressed interest in Mason."

Mason averaged 5.5 points per game last year in 52 appearances with the Wizards.
