Josh Selby isn't sure if he'll be a Kansas Jayhawk in a few weeks but apparently the Big 12 things he will be.
The conference announced on Thursday that Selby has been tabbed the Big 12 preseason freshman of the year.
Selby was rated as the No. 1 recruit in the nation by Rivals.com. He averaged 32 points, seven assists, five rebounds and two steals during his senior campaign to earn All-Metro Player of the Year honors from The Baltimore Sun. He also participated in the McDonald’s All-America Game, winning the slam dunk contest. He is the fourth Jayhawk to be named preseason Freshman of the Year.
We'll see if he actually plays. If he does, I have a feeling this will be accurate.
