ESPN's Dick Vitale Says Duke-Kansas State Has 'March Madness Atmosphere'

ESPN's Dick Vitale is excited (as he always is). Opening the ESPN broadcast of Tuesday night's game between the Duke Blue Devils and Kansas State Wildcats, Vitale called it a "March madness atmosphere" in the Sprint Center in downtown Kansas City, Mo.

The vibe in Kansas City is definitely pro-purple and the Kansas State fans have taken over the Sprint Center. There have been good reports on their showing this week.

"This is why college basketball gets you so excited," Vitale said.

Vitale's key to the game free throw shooting. Kansas State, as we know, has been struggling in that area this season while Duke has been solid. This could be a significant part of the game.
