Mike Krzyzewski Gets 800th Win As Duke Blue Devils Head Coach Against Kansas State

Duke's Mike Krzyzewski is cementing himself as one of the best coaches of all-time. As if he needs any more honors, Krzyzewski notched his 800th win as the Blue Devils head coach on Tuesday night against Kansas State. No. 1 Duke beat the No. 4 Wildcats in the CBE Classic finale, 82-68.

He becomes the fifth coach in NCAA history to win 800 or more games with one team. His competition: Dean Smith (879 - North Carolina), Adolph Rupp (876 - Kentucky), Jim Boeheim (832 - Syracuse), Jim Phelan (830 - Mount St. Mary's).

Krzyzewski's resume is already among the most impressive in college basketball history: 872 career wins (4th all-time), 4 NCAA championships (t-2nd all-time), 77 NCAA Tournament wins (Most all-time) and 11 30-win seasons (most all-time).

And of course Krzyzewski's Blue Devils did it in impressive fashion beating the No. 4 team in the country by 14 points.
