Missouri Tigers Vs. Wyoming Cowboys: Two 2-0 Teams Square Off In 2010 Cancun Challenge

The Missouri Tigers sure have a rough life. Playing in the 2010 Cancun Challenge in the second week of the season? That's not a bad road trip. Mizzou basketball hits the road for the first time this year as they face Wyoming in Cancun, Mexico in the semifinals of the 2010 Cancun Challenge.

Both teams are 2-0 early in the season and will meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening.

Here are a few tidbits about Mizzou/Wyoming in Cancun from the Mizzou game release:

Mizzou's trip to Cancun will be the first-ever regular season games played by the Tigers outside the country ... Missouri did play three exhibition games in Canada over Labor Day 2008.

Speaking of Wyoming, the Cowboy Football program is led by a former Missouri Tiger football assistant, Dave Christensen ... Coach Christensen was the offensive coordinator coach under Gary Pinkel at Mizzou from 2001-08.

Missouri got some love in the preseason polls this year, checking in at #15 in both Top 25 ledgers ... Mizzou was #32 in the ESPN / USA Today Coaches Poll and #45 in the Associated Press Poll last season at this time.
