Denver Broncos Vs. Kansas City Chiefs: Will Brandon Flowers Return?

The Kansas City Chiefs are heavily favored as they host the Denver Broncos on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs enter the game just a few short weeks after they were absolutely embarrassed in Denver, 49-29. The Chiefs have a lot more to play for than the 3-8 Broncos at this point but you could have said the same a few weeks ago.

KC is hoping to get back a couple of key players who have been missing in action.

CB Brandon Flowers missed last week's game against the Seattle Seahawks with a hamstring injury and appears to be making progress as he was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday. Flowers did not practice at all last week.

G Ryan Lilja is suffering from the same foot injury that landed him on the injury report last week. He was limited on Wednesday as well.

S Jon McGraw has been out for three weeks with a head injury but went from not practicing last Wednesday, to practicing in limited fashion last Friday to practicing fully this Wednesday. He looks to be making progress as well.

CB Jackie Bates is also a new addition to the injury report as he didn't practice on Wednesday. His injury might be the reason CB Mike Richardson was signed this week.

The injury report doesn't include WR Dexter McCluster so he might be able to play this week. We were think he would be able to play against the Seahawks as he had practiced in full all of last week but he was inactive.

All in all it's a fairly healthy team for KC as they head down the stretch.
