Michael Dixon Suspended By Missouri Tigers For Violation Of Team Rules

The Missouri Tigers have suspended guard Michael Dixon for a violation of team rules, Mizzou head coach Mike Anderson announced on Wednesday.

"We have high standards for how we expect our young men to carry themselves," Head Coach Mike Anderson said. "Michael didn't meet those standards, therefore he is suspended indefinitely."

Indefinitely? Missouri has five more games in December starting on Thursday night against Oral Roberts. He will not play in the Oral Roberts game.

Dixon is averaging 10.7 points, 4.3 assists, 2.2 rebounds and 2.4 steals per game. Mizzou is deep but his loss would still be significant considering he's a significant contributor to the team.
