Kansas Jayhawks' Mario Little Arrested For Battery, Trespassing

Kansas Jayhawks guard Mario Little won't be having a good week. According to Douglas County Jail records (via KUSports.com), Little was arrested early Thursday morning on charges of battery, criminal damage and criminal trespassing. All those charges are misdemeanors.

There aren't many details available as to what specifically happened but he was arrested in Lawrence, Kan. sometime after the police were called to an apartment building around 3:00 a.m. The police call at the time was a disturbance.

Little was booked at about 5:00 a.m., posted bond and was released.

Little is a senior guard averaging 6.2 points and 3.7 rebounds per game.

There's no word yet from Bill Self or how Kansas is planning to react to this but clearly they can't be happy. Kansas' next game comes on Saturday against USC which also happens to be the Josh Selby debut.
