The 13th ranked Missouri Tigers will return to the court on Thursday evening as they host Oral Roberts at Mizzou Arenas. The Tigers are 8-1 on the season and have won three in a row after losing in overtime to Georgetown. Mizzou's most recent victory comes over Presbyterian last week, 70-55. Mizzou looks to extend their 52-game home winning streak in non-conference games.
Oral Roberts enters the game at 4-5 and coming off of a loss against Oklahoma last weekend, 73-60. Mizzou fans should remember Oral Roberts as the Tigers have beaten them in five of their six all-time meetings. The last time they played it was the Golden Eagles that took home a one-point victory in Tulsa last year.
SB Nation's Rock M Nation remembers that game last year and has some thoughts
Dominique Morrison is a stud. We learned that when ORU and Mizzou played last year -- he had 21 points, seven rebounds (four offensive) and four assists in 38 minutes last year -- and he has backed it up with a solid junior season. He does not take many 3-pointers (only 25 of his 114 field goal attempts are 3's), and he draws quite a few fouls, shooting five free throws per game. If ORU makes it two in a row against Mizzou, it's because Morrison was unbelievable.
Remember that name: Dominique Morrison.
