New Era Pinstripe Bowl: Daniel Thomas Gives Kansas State Quick 7-0 Lead

The Kansas State Wildcats got off to a heck of a start against the Syracuse Orange in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium. RB Daniel Thomas took the Wildcats second offensive play and went 51 yards to the house to give Kansas State a 7-0 lead.

it was the longest touchdown run of his career at K-State. He had another run (52 yards) that was longer but wasn't a touchdown.

The drive stats: 2 plays, 60 yards, 0:28. Not a bad start, K-State. Carson Coffman has completed one pass to Adrian Hilburn for nine yards, which is the only other offensive play for Kansas State.

Syracuse went three and out on their first drive as they trail Kansas State 7-0.
