Kansas City Chiefs Make Three Roster Moves, Including Addition Of Third QB

The Kansas City Chiefs made a handful of roster moves on Wednesday as the team prepares for its Week 14 game against the San Diego Chargers.

Jackie Bates to injured reserve: The Chiefs CB was injured two weeks ago and hasn't played since. The team signed CB Mike Richardson at the time to make up for his loss but now his season is over on injured reserve. This brings into question the Chiefs' cornerback depth with CB Brandon Flowers banged up.

Tyler Palko to the active roster: The Chiefs QB was signed off the practice squad and added to the roster. Many teams carry three quarterbacks on the active roster but the Chiefs haven't to this point which makes you wonder why they did now. Palko sits behind QB Matt Cassel and QB Brodie Croyle now.

Micah Johnson added to the practice squad: The Chiefs LB comes off the streets as he last played for the Miami Dolphins at the beginning of the season. He was originally an undrafted free agent this summer with the New York Giants. He's 6'2" and 258 pounds.

The Chiefs haven't made a ton of roster moves this season apparently sticking with what's been working this season.
