College Basketball: Missouri Vs. Vanderbilt

The Missouri Tigers were able to withstand Vanderbilt on Wednesday evening at Mizzou Arena. Just like the Georgetown came almost two weeks ago, the Tigers went to overtime. This time, though, they came out victorious, 85-82.

Mizzou was lead by Marcus Denmon -- who was playing with a heavy heart -- as he scored 21 points and six boards on just 7-of-19 shooting. Michael Dixon added 15 points and Ricardo Ratliffe, who was in some foul trouble, continued his consistency with 14 points and nine boards.

Vanderbilt's John Jenkins had 23 points while Jeffrey Taylor added 18 and Festus Ezeli had 16.

Mizzou's Michael Dixon hit a shot as the buzzer went off at halftime to give the Tigers the lead. The Tigers shot 38.1 percent from the floor while Vanderbilt was at 51.7 percent.

Missouri outscored Vanderbilt 13-10 in overtime.

Vanderbilt moves to 7-2 on the year while the Tigers improve to 7-1.
