Toby Cook with the Royals confirmed that MLB commissioner Bud Selig will be in Kansas City on June 16 for a "major announcement" at Kauffman Stadium before the Royals vs. Astros game that night. Cook said the gates will open at 4:30 p.m. that night so fans who have tickets can come in and watch the announcement.
Also expected to be there? The Kansas City mayor.
