MWSU Coach Expects Chiefs To Draw 5,000 Fans A Day At Training Camp

For the first time in 19 years, the Chiefs will hold training camp in a place other than River Falls, WI. The new facility at Missouri Western State University are supposedly coming along well and expected to be ready for the Chiefs to report on July 29th.

In River Falls last year, crowds were usually at just a few hundred people. That is expected to change in St. Joe.

“I would be shocked that there will be less than 3,000 people at any practice,” MWSU coach Jerry Partridge said. “I would venture to say there will be 5,000 a day. I just got a great feeling there are going to be a lot of people here. I would be shocked if not.”

That would be a nice boost in attendance for the Chiefs.
