Royals second baseman Mike Aviles will go down in franchise history. OK, maybe that's a little dramatic but he did set a new record at Kauffman on Tuesday night.

Thanks to his sterling performance in a 15-7 win on Tuesday, Aviles became the first Royals second baseman in history to collect at least four hits, drive in four runs and score three runs in a game.

A bit obscure? Sure, but well-deserved.
