Some Unexpected Excitement At Chiefs' Presentation To Kansas City Police Athletic League

As we noted on Wednesday, the Chiefs donated some cash to the Kansas City Police Athletic League for a new full-sized football field. On Thursday, Denny Thum and a few Chiefs players made the presentation of the check.

"The Chiefs are thrilled that one of the finest youth football fields in Kansas City will be constructed right here at the Police Athletic League Center," noted Thum. "The Chiefs and the National Football League are committed to helping youth football thrive, especially right here in Kansas City. I’m proud to say that the Chiefs have donated nearly $2 million toward the development of youth football fields in our community over the past 12 years."
