For you Chiefs fans, I suppose this would be similar to "Patriot Week", if there were such a thing. The Royals on Friday will start a three-game set with the Braves.
↵Some of these Royals will be familiar to the Braves since Dayton Moore has shown a propensity to his former franchise.
↵It's not just Moore that's connected to the Braves. Ned Yost was hired by Braves manager Bobby Cox 22 years ago.
↵↵↵"It's fun playing in Atlanta after all the years I was there and it's fun seeing Bobby. Yeah, it's fun managing against him. That's where I live so the ticket list is out of control, which is a pain, but I enjoy seeing Bobby more than anything else," Yost said.
↵
Yost was previously in the National League when he'd make several trips a year to Atlanta. I would imagine his ticket request is even longer now that he's in the American League.
