Initial reports would indicate former Kansas Jayhawks guard Xavier Henry is going to be drafted right around the top 10. Here's an interesting article comparing Joe Johnson and Henry.
Joe Johnson didn't put up numbers in college that advertised he'd be a future All-Star. In his sophomore year at Arkansas he averaged 14.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.4 steals. At Kansas, Henry was good for 13.4 points, 4.4 boards, 1.5 dimes and 1.5 steals a night at the two-guard spot.
Would you select Joe Johnson around the 10th pick if you knew in four years he'd be one of the most sought-after free agents?
And I'm sure Xavier Henry doesn't mind Joe Johnson's $70 million payday that went along with that free agency period.
