Kansas Chancellor Bernadette Gray-Little is expected to address the Kansas Board of Regents on Thursday regarding the repairs the university has made after the recent ticket scandal came to light, according to the Associated Press.
The Kansas Board of Regents directed Gray-Little to give a report Thursday on what the university has done to address issues in its athletic department. The regents oversee the state's higher education system.
To be clear, Perkins hasn't been implicated in the ticket scandal case. He's innocent from any criminal wrongdoing.
However, he's not innocent from a complete lack of oversight on his athletic program. Regardless of how you spin it, Perkins oversaw a department that was stealing millions of dollars from the school. He either hired every person in that department or presided over them.
He's responsible.
