The NFL has something called the supplemental draft. It's basically a summer draft for players that were kicked off their team or not with their school anymore for whatever reason. If they've left school after the NFL draft, then they land in the supplemental draft.
↵One such player, Vaness Emokpae, will be working out in Kansas City on July 6, according to Pro Football Talk.
↵↵↵The process gets started on July 6, with Truman State fullback/H-back Vaness Emokpae working out in Kansas City.

We're told that, as of Thursday, 25 teams had contacted Emokpae's agent.
Logic would say the Chiefs would attend this pro day since it's in their own backyard. That and, if more than two-thirds of the league has called his agent, there's a chance the Chiefs were one of them.
