The Royals advanced-A affiliate, Wilmington Blue Rocks, announced the arrival of Royals first round pick Christian Colon on Friday.
This means that the 2008 third overall and 2010 fourth overall picks will be playing together.
With Wilmington, Colon will join fellow first-round pick Eric Hosmer. Hosmer was the third overall selection of the June 2008 draft and has excelled in the Carolina League, leading the loop in hitting in 2010.
