Big 12 Dominates The 2010 NBA Draft

If you didn't hear, the Big 12 dominated the 2010 NBA draft.

↵

There were seven Big 12 players selected in the first round -- Big 12 record and most of any conference in the draft.

↵

The previous record was five in 1997 that included Jayhawks Jacque Vaughn and Scot Pollard.

↵

There were 10 Big 12 players taken over all -- Big 12 record (tie) and most of any conference in the draft.

↵

This actually ties the Big 12 record of most players taken overall. Two years ago, the Michael Beasley-led Big 12 class also had 10. Kansas was represented pretty well in that class: Darrell Arthur, Brandon Rush, Mario Chalmers, Darnell Jackson and Sasha Kahn.

↵

So not a bad night for the Big 12.
