Missouri senior pitcher Nick Tepesch was drafted in the 14th round of the MLB draft by the Texas Rangers. He can choose to stay in school, or sign with the Rangers.↵
“We really haven’t started anything yet,” Tepesch said. “I talked with the scout who drafted me last week. He was just giving me an idea of what they’re thinking and asked me what I’m doing. I just told him I’m working out here in Columbia.”↵
It'd be tough to go back to school after being drafted. But, if he can improve his draft position by quite a bit, it could mean a serious difference in cash. He'll have until about mid-August to make the decision.
