Former Missouri Tigers LB Sean Weatherspoon was drafted in the first round by the Atlanta Falcons. Heading into year one, there are already high expectations.

In a recent list of the Falcons top 10 prospects, Chris Steuber of Scout.com ranks Weatherspoon third, behind QB Matt Ryan and LB Curtis Lofton.

A three-year starter at Missouri, Weatherspoon amassed more than 100 tackles in every year that he started for the Tigers. At 6-foot-1, 239 pounds, Weatherspoon has the ability to be a game changing type of defender who plays with unparalleled enthusiasm, and possesses the versatility to play inside or outside in any defensive structure. Weatherspoon will likely be the starting WILL linebacker for the Falcons this season and will contend for the Defensive Rookie of the Year award.

I know a lot of people are predicting a very solid pro career for him. The better he does, the better Mizzou looks so they're hoping for great things from him.
