The Chiefs will open the season against the Chargers on Monday Night Football at Arrowhead Stadium. They'll be underdogs either way but things just got easier for them because WR Vincent Jackson was suspended three games for violating the league's personal conduct policy after receiving two DUIs (Jared Allen style).
↵Why is this a big deal for the Chiefs?
↵The Chargers are a pass-happy offense and Jackson is their best wide receiver. One less threat allows the Chiefs more opportunities to send blitzers to help their miserable pass rush.
↵The Chiefs will already be fired up on Monday Night Football. This gives them a better chance to give the fans something to cheer about.
