In the 7th inning of Wednesday's 7-6 victory over the White Sox, Royals OF Jose Guillen knocked a three-run homer. As he rounded the bases, he appeared to signal someone in the stands and made a "zip it" gesture to his lips.
↵↵↵"Somebody was bugging me a little bit," Guillen said. "Told him to shush his mouth."
↵
Guillen also made what was possibly a game-saving catch in the ninth inning. People have been criticizing him saying he can't be an everyday outfielder and that he's just a DH.
↵Apparently, he disagrees.
↵↵↵"That was a great motivation they give me this year. A message to them, all those people who say I cannot play outfield," Guillen said. "They know who they are. And that's it. Simple as that. All right? Great catch. That's it. I still have it."
