The Royals gave up 15 hits and 18 runs to the White Sox on Sunday in the final game of their series sweep. Both those numbers are season highs for the Royals pitching and defense.
The previous high for runs was 13 by Texas back in May.
The previous high for hits was 15, which six different teams had done against the Royals.
The Sox were part of a four-homerun, seven-run third inning.
