Podsednik's Two Hits Make Three Royals Over 100 Hits At All-Star Break

Scott Podsednik went 2-for-3 on Sunday to end the first half of the season at 101 hits. For the Royals, that's a feat in itself.

Scott Podsednik went two for three and finished the pre-All-Star break schedule with 101 hits. He joined David DeJesus (107) and Billy Butler (106) in triple figures, which marks just the second time in franchise history that three players reached 100 prior to the break.

The last time that happened was in 1999 when Carlos Beltran, Joe Randa and Johnny Damon did it.

So basically Podsednik, DeJesus and Butler will be traded.
