Second Guilty Plea In KU Ticket Scandal Expected To Come Thursday

Two former KU staffers have been charged with knowing and concealing a ticket scheme at the University of Kansas. One man, Jason Jeffries, pleaded guilty to those charges on Wednesday.

On Thursday, the second guilty plea is expected to come from Brandon Simmons, according to the Lawrence Journal-World.

Thursday, Brandon Simmons will appear before Brown. He’s expected to plead not guilty in a hearing at 10:30 a.m. and then change his plea to guilty in a second hearing at 11 a.m.

Authorities are interested in at least four others who possibly played a role in the ticket scheme.
