The Chiefs didn't select anyone in the NFL's Supplemental Draft, which was held via e-mail on Thursday.
↵The name that caught Chiefs fans eye was former BYU RB Harvey Unga because the Chiefs had reportedly met with him prior to the Supplemental Draft on two occasions and attended his workout on July 8.
↵Two players were taken in the draft -- Unga went to the Bears and the Cowboys selected DT Joshua Price-Brent. The Bears were one of the teams along with the Chiefs that reportedly met with him privately.
↵The Chiefs were likely looking at Unga in the instance he wasn't drafted and became an unrestricted free agent.
↵But their interest in Unga does suggest they're at least intrigued by the idea of adding a bigger back to complement Jamaal Charles. Thomas Jones isn't expected to last too long in Kansas City because of his age.
