We told you a few weeks ago that the Royals were sending one of their chefs to the All-Star game as part of a competition to see who has the best specialty food.
↵The winner? You guessed it. The dude who makes the steaks. Per The Star:
↵↵↵Dustin Miller, a chef at Kauffman Stadium, and his KC Ribeye Stack won the fans’ top choice during MLB’s All-Star Weekend. It was one of 12 menu items chosen for competition.
↵
We're probably spoiled here in Kansas City with steaks so we don't realize how good something like a KC ribeye really is.
↵You know what the Royals should do? They should put Gates at Kauffman stadium. Doesn't that make a lot of sense? One of the most identifiable barbecue brands at the local baseball stadium in the most barbecue-crazy city?
↵Surely the Royals wouldn't put Generic Barbecue, or something lame like that at the stadium.
