↵I would normally say going to the Royals would be the best choice but he just won the CWS in his final at-bat. He is currently, to put succinctly, the man.
↵↵↵"[The Royals] said they wouldn't contact me until after we were done, which I really respect. But they'll be in contact with me the next couple of days, and I'll talk to them and work some stuff out and talk with my family," Merrifield said. "It's going to be a very, very difficult decision, no doubt about it."
