13-1 Loss To Blue Jays Is Royals Worst Loss Of The Year

Something I skipped over after recapping the Royals awful loss to the Blue Jays was that the 12-run difference was the worst of the year for the Royals.

The Royals won the series opener in the 10th inning, which was their first victory in their past seven. They followed that up with the beating courtesy of the Blue Jays.

However, the Royals are hoping to turn this into a positive. With a Wednesday night victory, they can win the series.

“Hey, this is just one game,” center fielder David DeJesus said, “and we can win the series (today). We do that, and we make (this series) a positive and not a negative.”

They'll have a good shot at a victory with Zack Greinke taking the mound.
