Rick Ankiel's much anticipated (whatever) comeback is set to take place on Saturday, according to Bob Dutton of the Kansas City Star.
Royals mgr Ned Yost says OF Rick Ankiel to be activated Saturday and RHP Anthony Lerew likely to start Sunday. Means somebody else goes.
As Dutton says, if Lerew isn't going to the DL then that means someone else on the roster will be moved out of the big leagues.
