Yankees Rout Royals, Win Series

The Yankees took care of business against the Royals winning on Sunday and concluding a 3-for-4 series victory.

One minor bright side was a big day from Scott Podsednik. With his name swirling in MLB trade rumors, Podsednik went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and four total RBIs. He had two balls go out of the park.

In other Royals trade candidates, Rick Ankiel went 3-for-4 with one RBI.

The Yankees meanwhile had four guys with multiple RBIs -- Nick Swisher, Alex Rodriguez, Robinson Cano and Curtis Granderson.

Once again, A-Rod was shut out from his 600th home run.

Sean O'Sullivan, making his first start as a Royal, couldn't make it two in a row against the Yankees. He got the loss while the Yankees starter, Phil Hughes, got the win.
