Maybe It's A Good Thing The Chiefs Didn't Draft These Two Guys

As Kent Babb of the Kansas City Star points out, Chiefs fans pointed to NT Terrence Cody and LB Sergio Kindle as two players who could help the club prior to the 2010 NFL draft.

↵

Maybe it was a good thing they didn't draft either of them.

↵

Cody failed the Ravens conditioning test and has not participated in practice. He was infamously overweight at the Sr. Bowl only to see him drop some pounds. Early reports on Cody in OTAs were good.

↵

Meanwhile, Kindle fell down two flights of stairs this week fracturing his skull.

↵

He's out indefinitely.

So the Chiefs will have to settle for their two second round picks -- Dexter McCluster and Javier Arenas -- and thus far those look to be good picks.
