Jason Kendall Becomes The 5th Player In MLB History To Catch 2,000 Games

Chiefs GM Scott Pioli appeared on the Royals and Twins telecast on Monday evening and said Jason Kendall was one of his favorite players.

For Royals fans, that may not be the case. While Kendall's hard work and dedication is admirable, some want to see a younger prospect out there.

Maybe someone who hasn't caught 2,000 games, a feat Kendall achieved on Monday night.

Kendall is Mr. Consistency in Kansas City, having started a disproportionate amount of games this season.
