The Kansas City Chiefs have six of their seven draft picks under contract as training camp is just over 24 hours away.
The Chiefs will depart for camp today and, as it stands now, Berry won't be with them.
Chiefs GM Scott Pioli declined this morning on 610 Sports to elaborate on the negotiation process.
"I don't ever get into discussions of ongoing negotiations," Pioli said. "I don't think it's an appropriate thing to do for a lot of reasons. We've still got a little bit of time before we actually start training camp and we're going to go with the guys we have. Hopefully Eric will be there and, if he's not, we're going to go with the guys we have."
Todd Haley expects everyone to be there but Berry and unsigned restricted free agent Jarrad Page aren't on board yet.
