I attended the Super Bowl in Miami this year so I got an up close look at the Super Bowl trophy. A few others in Kansas City recently did the same.
↵Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams, a native of Excelsior Springs, MO, brought the trophy to his hometown for a charity event.
↵↵↵"We’ve tried to treat this like the Stanley Cup," Williams said. "We’ve tried to make sure we’re out letting as many people see it, touch it, feel it and experience it as much as we can. The National Football League has gotten a lot of exposure out of this because it’s uncharacteristic as to what happens with the Super Bowl trophy. It’s kind of a sacred thing. No one touches it and no one gets to see it."

How many years until the Chiefs see one of those?
↵Here's another photo of Gregg Williams (for no apparent reason) talking to some really weird dude at the Super Bowl.
