Kansas State Basketball Could Face National Champion Duke

Kansas State basketball could be getting an early test.

The men's basketball team is participating in the CBE classic tournament early in the season. They'll start with games against James Madison and Presbyterian at Bramlage Coliseum.

Also in the mix? The champs.

The Wildcats will complete the tournament at Sprint Center on Nov. 22 and 23 in a field that includes defending national champion Duke, Marquette and Gonzaga.

There's nothing like an early season test. With Dominique Sutton now transferring, it'll take the Wildcats a little bit to get used to life without him. He wasn't one of the reasons they necessarily won or lost but a solid role player that you don't realize you miss until he's gone.
