Marcus Morris' summer just got even better. He and Kansas State's Jacob Pullen will be competing on the USA Men's select team.
↵From July 19-24, they'll be practicing against the USA Men's National Team made up of NBA players.
↵↵↵"I am very excited to play against the national team,” Marcus Morris said in a release. “I think it is a great opportunity to see where my level of play is compared to NBA players. I also know now that people are watching me since I was invited to something of this caliber."
↵
Morris spent part of his summer at Ama're Stoudemire's big man camp so he's receiving some good help this summer. He already grew an inch, maybe his game will take another leap as well.
↵Meanwhile, this is Pullen's second big summer team. Last year, he toured Europe on a team.
↵↵“I think it definitely helped me last year,” Pullen said. “This year it should really just mold me more into being a leader. Playing with those types of people, and playing with the so-called leaders on other teams, you learn a lot playing with people like that.”
