HBO's Hard Knocks is covering the New York Jets this training camp and the biggest story surrounding Rex Ryan and the bigger-than-life Jets is the holdout of CB Darrelle Revis.
↵When Hard Knocks covered the Chiefs several years ago, Larry Johnson was holding out. They still followed him around in New York and included him in the story line, including him running up to sign the final contract and run onto the field.
↵Apparently that experience will help HBO moving forward.
↵↵↵HBO Sports president Ross Greenburg declined to discuss the level of cooperation provided by Revis and Revis’ representatives for Hard Knocks. He said the television program will tell the story. Greenburg said the program has told the stories of holdouts in past seasons, citing Larry Johnson with the Kansas City Chiefs and Andre Smith of the Cincinnati Bengals.

Somehow I don't think Revis will end up being nearly as bad of a signing as LJ.
