Chiefs Training Camp: Fourth Quarterback Added Is Really An Assistant Coach

Adam Teicher of the KC Star reported Monday morning that it appeared the Chiefs had a new quarterback on the roster.

Before they left for their movie (they skipped practice), a player dressed out as #9 was seen on the field.

That player, according to Kent Babb of the KC Star, was really assistant coach Nick Sirianni.

He does have some football background, but as a receiver, and not a quarterback.

So the Chiefs don't have a new quarterback but Brodie Croyle appeared he wouldn't be participating in practice. He had a brace on his arm. No word yet on the severity of that injury. He did some individual stuff on Sunday so it doesn't appear serious.
