The Maxwell Award watch list is out and there is one Mizzou player and one Kansas State player that's on the list.
Mizzou QB Blaine Gabbert: He's also on the O'Brien and Manning award watch lists. It seems that he's ready for a monster year. He can put up huge numbers so he's someone to keep an eye on.
Kansas State RB Daniel Thomas: He's the key to KSU's offense so there will be no shortage of touches for him. He's the first KSU player to land on the list since Darren Sproles in 2004. He rushed for over 1,200 yards last year.
There will be semifinalists announced on Nov. 8, three finalists announced on Nov. 22 and then the winner on Dec. 9.
