Jason Whitlock Is Leaving The Kansas City Star

New, 6 comments

Jason Whitlock of the Kansas City Star has been a staple in Kansas City since 1994 when he first arrived at the newspaper. He coined the term "King Carl" and was the loudest critic of the Peterson regime.

↵

Whether you hated him or loved him, he was good for Kansas City sports.

↵

That's why it's too bad to hear that Whitlock is leaving the Star to pursue other interests.

↵

He was the guy in town everyone loved to hate but he could call out the local teams unlike anyone else.

↵

Kansas City sports coverage just won't be the same anymore.

↵

That's too bad.
